Flanges belong to pipe fittings, and the production process of pipe fittings is injection moulding.
The disadvantage is that the density is low, it is not resistant to wear, it ages quickly, and its service life is only half of that of the pipe.
For welder connection hoses and hose fittings, there is a weld protrusion at the welding place, which is easy to crack. The 90-degree straight edge of the flange is easily damaged when it encounters a hard object.
Joints with steel rings.
The advantages are high density; long service life; wear resistance. Because the joint processes through the pipe, the change of the nozzle is very small. And the overall physical properties of the pipe basically remain unchanged.
There is no protrusion at the joint between the steel ring and the pipeline. The hose flow rate is smooth, and the transmission efficiency is high.
The steel ring supports the nozzle and the internal quality is very good.
Therefore, in harsh environments, the outside of the nozzle has strong resistance. So is not easy to damage when it encounters hard objects.
